Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• We will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Develops strong relationships with customers.
• Learn from store and pharmacy team members and leadership.
• Assist in the practice of pharmacy under pharmacist supervision and in accordance with policy.
• Assist with entering, third party processing, filling, and dispensing prescriptions.
• Support patient care and health services within state scope of practice.
• Report prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and follow quality policies.
• Register related sales on cash register and assist customers to locate products.
• Handle calls not requiring pharmacist attention.
• Assist with inventory management and maintenance of pharmacy supplies.
• Maintain clean, orderly Pharmacy Department environment.
• Complete special assignments as needed.
