Job summary
Stop & Shop in Meriden, CT is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacists in delivering compassionate patient care while you advance your pharmacy training. Qualifications
- Enrollment in an accredited School of Pharmacy program with vaccination eligibility.
- Valid Pharmacy Intern license in good standing.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work under supervision of a pharmacist.
Responsibilities
- Support pharmacists in providing outstanding patient care in line with state and federal regulations.
- Assist with prescription processing and immunizations under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Use dispensing software to help manage patient and medication information.
- Engage with customers by answering questions, assisting with product location, and ensuring a positive visit.
- Help maintain an organized and well-stocked pharmacy through inventory management and storage.
