Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the state boards within the district within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, contraindications and privacy.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and company policies; supports workflow and inventory management.
• Uses pharmacy systems to support customers and staff and proposes enhancements to promote productivity.
• Handles insurance claims processing and works with insurers and providers to resolve issues.
• Delivers immunization and preventive health services such as flu shots and diabetes awareness.
• Develops relationships with local medical community and participates in community outreach to grow the pharmacy business.
• Collaborates with Central Pharmacy Operations for customer registrations and 3rd party reviews; conducts virtual product reviews in approved environments.
