Job summary

You will engage in immunization services, patient counseling, and collaboration with healthcare providers to promote safe therapy and enhance the customer experience at the store level.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited educational institution prior to the start date in position.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 90 days of hire per district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage of medicine, side effects, interactions, contraindications and privacy.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures the pharmacy operates in accordance to regulations, company policies and standards.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems to provide support to customers and staff.
• Assists in analyzing performance data and implementing inventory management.
• Develops relationships with medical community and participates in community outreach.
