Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution before start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the state boards within timeline.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy; refer to provider when needed.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management as workload allows.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and efficient workflow; assist in opening/closing and shift changes.
• Apply Good Faith Dispensing policy in line with state and federal laws.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy IT systems (Intercom Plus, StoreNET) and propose improvements.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with payers and providers to resolve issues.
• Support immunizations, wellness services, and community health education.
• Assist in analyzing performance data and inventory management; support asset protection.
