Job summary

Walgreens in the United States is seeking a Pharmacist to provide medication counseling, review prescriptions, and ensure safe and effective dispensing within regulatory guidelines. You will support workflow, manage immunizations and wellness services, maintain pharmacy systems, and collaborate with providers to optimize patient care and satisfaction.

Qualifications

Willingness to obtain PharmD from an accredited institution.
Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within district guidelines.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions and generics.
Performs drug therapy reviews, verification and dispensing as needed.
Ensures regulatory compliance and Good Faith Dispensing practices.
Maintains pharmacy systems (Intercom Plus, StoreNET) and supports productivity.
Supports opening/closing, workflow optimization and KPI reviews with management.
Provides immunizations and preventive health services to customers.
Develops relationships with local healthcare providers and community outreach.
