Stop & Shop is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacists in providing patient care and protect community health. The role involves prescription processing, immunizations under supervision, and using dispensing software to manage patient data.

Qualifications

• Support pharmacists in providing patient care per state and federal regulations.
• Assist with pharmacy operations including prescription processing and immunizations under supervision.
• Use our pharmacy dispensing software to manage patient and medication information
• Engage with customers by answering questions and helping locate products
• Help maintain an organized and stocked pharmacy through inventory management
• Support pharmacy team operations including point-of-sale transactions and admin tasks
• Uphold company policies and contribute to an inclusive work environment
• Participate in special assignments and learning opportunities as directed by the pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Assist with prescription processing and immunizations under supervision.
• Support dispensing software use for patient information management.
• Engage with customers and assist with product location.
• Help maintain inventory and stock in the pharmacy.
• Assist with POS transactions and general administrative tasks.
