Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our Retail Pharmacy team in Caldwell, NJ. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will support patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance while assisting in daily pharmacy operations.

You’ll grow professionally in a culture centered on continuous improvement, patient care, and teamwork, with opportunities to expand your skills and contribute to immunization efforts as regulations permit.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• 0-3 years relevant work experience
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
• Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
• Mobility and ability to stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Lead with Heart—show empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
• Support pharmacy team to deliver safe and effective patient care
• Assist with regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and workflow management
• Provide customer service and inventory management support
