Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from state boards within district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy; refers to medical provider as needed.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations, policies and standards; assists manager with procedures and opening/closing duties.
• Uses Good Faith Dispensing policy with state and federal laws when filling prescriptions; supports quality assurance of dispensing.
