• Active enrollment in a US school of pharmacy.
• Current state-issued Pharmacy Intern license.

• Assist department manager in achieving sales and profit goals and monitor QA standards.

• Provide drug counseling and assist with OTC recommendations.
• Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system accurately.
• Dispense correct medication and contact prescribers' offices for authorization.
• Bag filled prescriptions and deliver them to customers correctly.
• Process third-party insurance information and contact insurers when needed.
• Facilitate charge purchases for customers.
• Interpret prescriptions accurately for fill/refill.
• Clean the department and provide immunizations under pharmacist supervision.
• Stock incoming orders and return unused medication bottles.
• Notify management of accidents and report prescription incidents to the on-duty pharmacist.
• Report safety risks, illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflicts effectively and cooperatively.
