Job summary

CVS Health Corporation invites applications for a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team and contribute to patient care. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support safe, effective retail pharmacy operations and patient services.

You will participate in patient safety, regulatory compliance, inventory and workflow management, and provide care-focused service to customers.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Heart – show empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Ensure patient safety and pharmacy professional practice within regulatory requirements.
• Manage quality assurance and inventory activities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support pharmacy workflow.
• Maintain smooth workflow excluding final prescription verification.
