Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern in San Francisco, CA to learn patient experience, assist the pharmacist and team, and process prescriptions under state and company guidelines. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient information and support dispensing, while delivering a distinctive customer experience.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will gain exposure to patient counseling, medication-related services, and store operations, including inventory and service excellence policies.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and assist with products to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with the team to deliver a delightful experience.
• Develop strong relationships with customers.
• Learn from store and pharmacy teams and leadership.
• Assist pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy per policy and SOPs.
• Support patient care within state scope, including counseling.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty.
• Adhere to Good Faith Dispensing policy.
• Handle cash register and help customers locate OTC products.
• Answer non-urgent calls to the pharmacist.
• Assist with inventory management and receiving shipments.
• Keep Pharmacy stocked and clean.
• Follow all policies; maintain respectful coworker relations.
• Complete special assignments as needed.
