Walgreens in San Francisco, CA seeks a Pharmacy Intern to learn patient care by assisting the pharmacist and team under state and federal regulations. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

You will engage customers to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience, learn policies, and support dispensing, inventory, and related pharmacy operations with a flexible schedule and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsabilités

• Assist pharmacist and pharmacy team under supervision to enter, third party processing, fill and dispense prescriptions.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engage customers to deliver a distinctive and positive Walgreens experience.
• Support inventory management and other pharmacy operations as needed.
