Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team in a part-time Retail Pharmacy environment. Under supervision, you will contribute to safe, effective patient care, assist with regulatory requirements, and support daily operations to deliver high-quality service.

You will engage in patient safety, inventory management, and workflow coordination while developing professional practice within ACPE accredited pharmacy education.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment delivering exceptional care to patients.
• Lead with patient safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain inventory and manage workflow excluding final prescription verification.
• Provide customer service and support to pharmacy team and patients.
• Collaborate with licensed pharmacist to ensure safe dispensing processes.
• Support daily operations and adherence to policies.
