Job summary

CVS Health announces a US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate Training Program for Pharmacists. This internship pathway guides you through required US internships, licensure processes, and hands-on pharmacy operations in our Retail locations.

Successful candidates complete internship within 18 months, pass licensure exams, and prepare for a Pharmacist role under preceptor guidance, with opportunities to contribute to patient care and store performance.

Qualifications

• Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy
• FPGEC certification requirement
• Pharmacist licensure in the state within 120 days of internship completion
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage patient health
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Provide empathetic patient service and assist with immunizations and other services
• Counsel patients and field medical questions under direct supervision
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify as allowed by state regulations
• Mentor pharmacy team members and support training
• Assist with inventory activities and cycle counts as directed
• Support a high-performing team and adaptability to store needs
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed
• Comply with laws, regulations, and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
• Deliver additional health care services where lawful and trained

Education

FPGEC certification

Pharmacist licensure in state within 120 days

Intern/Technician licensure in process or possessed
