Job summary

CVS Health in Valparaiso, IN is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Intern to support the pharmacy team, learn under supervision, and prepare for a Pharmacist role. You will follow SOPs, participate in patient interactions, and gain hands-on experience across production, drive-thru, and pick-up workflows.

As a 3rd year intern, you will complete a training roadmap, accompany leaders in the district, and assist with immunizations and patient counseling where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or enrolled in, ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be pursuing, intern/licensure as required.
• Legal ability to work in a CVS setting as a pharmacy intern.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers when allowed by state rules.
• Support inventory tasks, cycle counts, and receiving deliveries as directed.
