OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Intern for a part-time, casual role. Under licensed supervision, you will prepare and label medications, review orders, and assist with billing and inventory. You may work weekends and participate in holiday rotations as needed.

Ideal candidates are actively pursuing licensure as a pharmacist, enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy, and available for variable shifts throughout the year.

  • Eligibility for Ohio State Board intern registration.
  • Ability to work under supervision and follow department policy.

Candidate must have an intern license and meet the requirements shown below. Must work every other weekend, be part of the holiday rotation, and be able to pick up additional hours during summer and winter breaks.***JOB SUMMARYUnder the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, performs any or all of the functions of the department as assigned according to established procedure. Based on ability, experience, and performance, performs the increasingly judgmental activities of a pharmacist pursuant to State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations. Under supervision, gains the practical experience necessary to function competently and effectively upon licensure.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- High School Diploma.- Registration with The State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy InternSPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGEInterns must be actively pursuing licensure as a Registered Pharmacist through completion of academic and/or post-graduate experience requirements. These qualifications can be met by active enrollment in a College of Pharmacy, or for international pharmacy graduates, satisfactorily passed the FPGEE and the TSE or TOEFL-ibt (these are completed through the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy [NABP]).
