The Cigna Group’s Evernorth Health Services is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support managed care formulary strategy. You’ll collaborate with pharmacists, clinical strategists, and business partners to review medications, analyze data, and help inform formulary decisions that improve affordability and access.

This summer internship runs May 24 through August 13, 40 hours/week, hybrid with three days in Bloomington, MN or St. Louis, MO and two remote days (fully remote if outside those cities).

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited PharmD program enrollment; rising 3rd-year student.
• Interest in managed care, formulary management, and pharmacy strategy.
• Strong writing and speaking skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

Able to work on your own and with a team.* Able to plan your work, meet due dates, and act on feedback.* Basic skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.**Preferred Qualifications*** Coursework in drug therapy, health economics, epidemiology, managed care, or a related field.* Experience with research, data review, or literature reviews.* Knowledge of drug development, care guidelines, pharmacy benefits, or formulary concepts.* Experience with managed care and health plan PBMs, a plus**Additional Information****Location:** Pharmacy Interns may be onsite working a hybrid schedule, spending three days per week in our Bloomington, MN or St. Louis, MO office and two days working remotely, if local to those areas. Fully remote if outside of those cities.**Schedule:** This is a full-time summer internship (40 hours per week) running from **May 24 through August 13th with flexibility offered based on University Schedules****Compensation:** Hourly pay ranges from **$24.00 - $28.00**, based on degree program, and year of study.**Work Authorization**: This position is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa support including H-1B or CPT/OPT/STEM, etc., now or in the future.
