Job summary

CVS Health in Utah seeks 3rd year Pharmacy Interns to support our pharmacy teams in a fast-paced retail environment. You will follow SOPs, participate in immunization services where allowed, and learn under the supervision of licensed pharmacists and technicians as you build clinical and operational skills for increasing responsibility.

Regular attendance, strong communication, compassionate patient care, and the ability to handle multiple tasks are essential.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on core KLEs
• Assist pharmacy team in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment under supervision
• Provide empathetic patient interactions and answer questions within scope
• Support immunization services and patient counseling where allowed
• Engage in inventory activities and cycle counts as directed by leadership
• Demonstrate growth mindset and adaptability to store needs
