Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern in New Jersey to assist the pharmacist and pharmacy team in providing excellent patient care. You will learn to process prescriptions using pharmacy systems while upholding Walgreens policies and standards.

You will help deliver a distinctive customer experience, engage with customers, and learn state and federal regulations guiding pharmacy practice. The role supports overall pharmacy operations under supervision.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist and pharmacy team to provide the best patient experience.
Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and to process prescriptions.
Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Support pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision, following policies and procedures.
