Job summary

CVS Health in the United States offers a structured pathway for US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduates to become pharmacists. After passing FPGEE and TOEFL, interns complete required hours and pursue licensure while developing clinical and operational skills within CVS Pharmacy teams.

Under a preceptor-led plan, interns gain hands-on experience, learn SOPs, and advance toward licensure exams, contributing to safe, patient-centered care across CVS locations.

Qualifications

• Foreign graduate from a non-US accredited college prior to beginning US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate Training Program at CVS.
• FPGEC certification is required.
• Pharmacist licensure in the state within 120 days of completing US Intern hours; separation if not completed as prescribed.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Maintain patient safety and accurate prescription fulfillment following SOPs.
• Demonstrate empathy and compassionate care to patients and colleagues.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law.

Education

Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college
