Job summary

CVS Health in the United States offers a structured US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate Training program within our Retail pharmacy teams. After completing FPGEE and TOEFL, you will start internship hours and apply your pharmacy education to real-world practice.

Under a preceptor, you will complete a learning plan, pursue licensure, and prepare for Pharmacist roles. You will support operations, ensure safe, accurate prescriptions, and develop leadership skills while serving patients with empathy.

Qualifications

• Foreign Graduate from a non-US accredited school of pharmacy.
• FPGEC certification required.
• Pharmacist licensure in the state where position is based within 120 days.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and care at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Counsel patients and solicit medical history when appropriate under supervision.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers when allowed.
• Provide mentoring to pharmacy team members and support leadership.
• Complete basic inventory activities and assist in stock management.
• Support a high-performing team and be open to feedback.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed.
• Comply with all laws and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Deliver additional services (immunizations, point-of-care testing) where allowed.
