Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain Pharm D degree prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions and generics to ensure correct medication use.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and supports efficient pharmacy workflow including opening/closing and shift changes.
• Ensures accurate handling of insurance claims and follows up with providers to resolve issues.
• Immunizations, wellness services and diabetes awareness as part of preventive care.
• Assists with KPI reviews and collaboration with store/healthcare staff.
