Walgreens in the United States is seeking a Pharmacist to provide medication counseling, verify prescriptions, and perform immunizations and other preventive health services. You will support pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and help optimize patient care and store performance.

The role emphasizes patient education, collaboration with pharmacy teammates, and delivering a high touch experience while maintaining accuracy and safety.

Competenze

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited educational institution prior to the start date in position.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 90 days of hire per district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

• Greet customers and assist with product and service questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Counsel patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and refer to medical provider as needed.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management; dispense accurately.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies; assist with opening/closing and shift changes.
• Support insurance claim processing and 3rd party audits; engage with medical providers when needed.
