Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions and alternatives.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and company policies; opens/closes shop and manages shifts.
• Maintains pharmacy IT systems and processes to support customers and staff.
• Processes insurance claims and follows up with providers to resolve issues.
• Provides immunizations and other preventive health services.
• Analyzes performance data and coordinates with management to protect assets and inventory.
