Qualifications

• Must successfully complete first professional year of pharmacy study.
• Preferable to have been a pharmacy teammate for minimum of 6 months.
• State licensed pharmacy intern permit where applicable.
• 1 year previous experience in a community pharmacy preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all state and federal regulations related to the practice of pharmacy
• Counsels patients and handles prescription intake
• Receives prescriptions via phone; interprets written prescriptions from prescribers
• Maintains inventory and assists with ordering and stock control
• Assists with immunization counseling, documentation, and supervision when allowed
