Job summary

LPU Batangas is seeking a pharmacist to provide medication guidance, ensure accurate dispensing, and support immunization and wellness services at our Jacksonville, FL location. You will engage customers, verify prescriptions, and help optimize workflow with the store team.

Candidates should pursue a Pharm D, be willing to obtain licensure within 90 days, and pursue immunizer certification if not already certified.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain Pharm D degree from an accredited institution.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Immunizer certification or willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacy consulting on medication usage, drug interactions, and preventive healthcare such as immunizations.
• Ensure proper compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines and company policies.
• Engage customers by greeting and assisting with products and services, resolving issues promptly to ensure positive experiences.
• Model and share customer service best practices to deliver a distinctive customer experience.
• Develop strong relationships with customers by anticipating needs and promoting healthcare services like patient consultation and medication management.
• Counsel patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and referring to medical providers as needed.
• Perform pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
