Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert medication counseling, immunization services, and comprehensive patient care at our Fayetteville, NC location. Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain PharmD degree prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in district states within 90 days.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and privacy considerations, and refers to provider as needed.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and dispensing under regulations and policy.
• Maintains Good Faith dispensing practices and adheres to state and federal drug laws during fill processes.
• Keeps pharmacy IT systems updated and supports staff, including inventory management and KPI review with management.
• Provides immunizations and preventive health services and collaborates with clinicians and local providers.
