Job summary

CVS Health in Wayne, NJ is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply your didactic learning in real-world practice under the guidance of a pharmacist preceptor. You will complete a comprehensive 120‑day training roadmap to deepen your understanding of store operations, patient safety, and clinical services.

You will support the pharmacy team in filling prescriptions, counseling patients, and assisting with immunizations and other services where allowed by law, while learning SOPs and standards

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure that prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
• Demonstrate empathy and caring in customer interactions while adhering to SOPs
• Support immunization services and point‑of‑care testing where allowed by law
• Learn to operate within pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation
• Participate in inventory tasks and loss prevention activities as directed
