Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in a retail setting. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice under a preceptor, completing a comprehensive training roadmap with hands-on experience in prescription fulfillment, patient counseling, and SOP adherence.

• Enrolled in ACPE-accredited college/school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician license as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled accurately and safely.
• Counsel patients and answer medical questions under pharmacist supervision.
• Adhere to SOPs and maintain patient privacy and safety.
• Support immunizations and other patient services where allowed by state law.
