Job summary

CVS Health in New Jersey seeks a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice within a CVS pharmacy. Under supervision, you will complete a 120-day training roadmap, deepen patient care skills, and support immunization and other pharmacy services as you prepare for a Pharmacist role.

You will follow SOPs, engage with patients and colleagues with empathy, and travel across the market stores as needed to support operations and learning.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines (120 days)
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs
• Ensure prescription information and label accuracy for patient safety
• Assist pharmacy team to fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
