Job summary

CVS Health's Graduate Pharmacy Intern program offers hands-on training under a pharmacist preceptor to prepare for a pharmacist role. You will follow a 120‑day training roadmap focused on patient safety, DUR, and SOPs, while supporting store operations and delivering caring service that exceeds expectations.

As readiness grows, you’ll take on more responsibilities in pharmacy management and mentorship of teammates, while traveling within the market as needed to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure that pharmacy operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law and trained.
• Learn to operate SOPs, best practices and effective communication within the pharmacy team.
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered service and counsel patients as appropriate.
