Job summary

CVS Health's 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program provides hands-on, real-world training in store operations under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist. You will support daily pharmacy processes, ensuring safe, accurate dispensing and learning SOPs while delivering compassionate care to patients.

This part-time internship emphasizes teamwork, professional growth, and exposure to district and regional pharmacy operations, preparing you for a Pharmacist role within CVS Health.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians
• Follow workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Provide empathetic patient service and immunizations when available
• Counsel patients and obtain medical history when appropriate under supervision
• Assist with telephonic prescriptions and prescriber clarification
• Mentor pharmacy team and support training
• Perform basic inventory tasks and cycle counts
• Travel to stores as needed to support operations
• Comply with laws, regulations, and CVS policies
• Deliver additional patient health care services per training
