Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Intern to operate on-site in Belle Vernon, PA. This role focuses on applying didactic learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist, supporting the pharmacy team, and ensuring safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.

You will learn through a comprehensive training roadmap, perform SOP-guided tasks, and participate in immunization services where allowed, while developing clinical and technical knowledge in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Counsel patients when appropriate and provide immunizations with proper supervision.
• Support inventory activities and store operations under pharmacy leadership.
• Maintain high levels of patient privacy and safety in all interactions.
