Job summary

CVS Health is inviting third-year pharmacy students to join our Pharmacy Intern program in a store setting. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, supporting pharmacy teams to deliver safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service.

The role emphasizes learning through a structured training roadmap, exposure to store, district, and regional operations, and hands‑on experience in immunizations and other services under supervision.

Qualifications

Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

Follow SOPs to support pharmacists and technicians in patient health.
Assist with prescription fulfillment and customer service at the pharmacy workstation.
Counsel patients and field medical questions under supervision when appropriate.
Assist with telephonic prescriptions and clarification with prescribers when allowed.
Support inventory activities and pharmacy team coaching and training.
Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed by business.
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and CVS policies to protect patient safety.
