University of Rochester is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to perform, under the supervision of a pharmacist, the functions of a pharmacist including preparing, dispensing, and ensuring safety of medications for patients in accordance with state and federal laws. The role requires a NYS intern permit and completion of the first professional year in an ACPE-accredited program.

Duties include stock management, dispensing system support, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Competenze

• Completed first professional year in ACPE program or a graduate from a non-accredited program that has passed NAPLEX and been approved by the board office as eligible to apply for a limited intern permit.
• Must hold valid NYS Limited (Intern) Permit.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, independent judgement and problem solving required.
