Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our stores in New Jersey. You will apply classroom learning to real-world pharmacy practice under a preceptor, with a 120‑day training roadmap to deepen patient safety and drug utilization review understanding.

You will support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, prompt, and accurate prescription fulfillment, while delivering caring service that exceeds patient expectations and learning to operate per SOPs and store procedures.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within state timeframe.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend training and complete the 120‑day roadmap.
• Support pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients and provide empathetic, high‑quality service.
• Assist with immunizations and other services where allowed by law.
• Maintain SOPs and participate in inventory and daily pharmacy operations.
• Travel to stores as needed and support market needs.
