Job summary

CVS Health is looking for a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team in New Jersey, supporting pharmacy operations, patient care, and immunization services under supervision. You will complete a structured training roadmap within 120 days of graduation and collaborate with pharmacists and technicians across stores in the market.

You will learn SOPs, patient safety practices, and how to provide high-quality service while preparing for greater responsibilities in pharmacy practice.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, promptly, accurately, and with caring service.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all workstations to ensure patient safety and quality of service.
• Assist with immunizations, patient counseling, and clinical duties under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, returns-to-stocks and other routine tasks as directed by leadership.
• Travel to stores within the market to support business needs and provide consistent patient care.
• Demonstrate empathy, effective communication, and teamwork to contribute to a positive work environment.
