Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd-year pharmacy intern to join our retail pharmacy team in Maryland. Under licensed pharmacist supervision, you will help deliver high-quality patient care, safety, and service while supporting inventory and workflow management.

You will be based in our on-site pharmacy, gaining hands-on experience with patient care programs, immunization support, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced health care environment.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Heart – show empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Ensure patient safety and pharmacy professional practice.
• Support regulatory requirements and quality assurance in daily operations.
• Assist with inventory and workflow management under supervision; exclude final prescription verification.
