Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program at our Retail locations. You will apply your pharmacy school learning under a preceptor to complete a 120-day training roadmap, supporting pharmacy teams to deliver safe, accurate prescriptions and compassionate service.

As you progress, you’ll expand clinical and technical knowledge, participate in immunizations and other services where allowed, and travel to stores as needed.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: actively look for ways to help people and assist the team.
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues clearly and effectively.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days’ supply and dispense accuracy.
• Problem Resolution: handle patient or colleague interactions professionally.
