Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is offering a US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate program designed to translate didactic learning into real-world pharmacy practice. Qualifications

• Foreign graduate from a non-US accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• FPGEC certification.
• Pharmacist licensure in the state where the position is based within 120 days of internship completion.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists and technicians manage patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic patient care and support immunizations and other services as applicable.
• Counsel patients, obtain necessary medical information, and escalate when appropriate.
• Assist with telephonic prescriptions and communicate with prescribers when needed.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to pharmacy staff and participate in inventory activities.
• Contribute to a high-performing team, adapt to market needs, and travel as required.
• Adhere to all laws, regulations, and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.

Education

Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college

FPGEC certification

Pharmacist licensure in the applicable state within 120 days
