Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our retail pharmacy team. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to deliver safe, compassionate patient care and support daily pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include patient safety, regulatory compliance, inventory management, and excellent customer service. Active enrollment in ACPE-accredited programs and licensure progress are required.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0–3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Support safe Retail Pharmacy operations under licensed pharmacist supervision.
• Contribute to patient safety, QA, regulatory compliance, and customer service.
• Assist with inventory management and workflow duties.
• Engage with patients and caregivers with empathy and care.
