Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team in a part-time role. Under licensed pharmacist supervision, you will contribute to safe, effective care and support patient services.
Responsibilities include patient safety, regulatory compliance, inventory management, and strong customer service. Ideal candidates are actively enrolled in ACPE-accredited programs and have 0-3 years of related experience.
Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years relevant work experience.
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern/technician licensure as required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.
- Ability to: regular attendance, mobility, lifting up to 20 lbs and reaching duties.
Responsibilities
- Lead with Heart – empathic patient care and service.
- Ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance in pharmacy operations.
- Manage inventory and workflow to support accurate dispensing.
- Provide excellent customer service and pharmacy support.
