Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team. You will work under a licensed pharmacist to support safe retail operations, patient safety, and high-quality care for every patient.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
• Ability to: stand, walk, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist under supervision to ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment.
• Lead with patient safety, pharmacy practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory, and workflow management.
