Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our CVS Pharmacy team in Illinois. You will implement a structured training roadmap, under a pharmacist preceptor, gaining hands-on experience in dispensing, patient interactions, and store operations.

Responsibilities include assisting with immunizations when permitted, following SOPs, and delivering compassionate service while learning to assume greater responsibilities in preparation for a pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs and participate in training roadmap.
• Assist with immunizations and patient counseling as allowed.
• Learn store, district, and regional operations under a preceptor.
• Respond to patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
