Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is offering a 3rd year pharmacy intern position within the retail pharmacy team under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will contribute to a safe, effective work environment and deliver patient-centered care to each customer.

The role emphasizes patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and excellent customer service while supporting pharmacy operations and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing for extended periods.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in retail pharmacy operations under supervision to support patient care.
• Contribute to patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
• Support inventory and workflow management in the pharmacy.
• Provide excellent customer service and healthcare information to patients.
