Job summary

CVS Health in Massachusetts is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program within our Retail locations, where you will support pharmacy teams and develop skills toward greater responsibility. You will help ensure safe prescription fulfillment, provide patient care, and contribute to a positive store experience.

Applicants should be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy and seek intern/technician licensure as required.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly between tasks, ensure label accuracy
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner
• Communication Skills: use and understand verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days supply, tablets, and bottle counts
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions appropriately
• Physical Demands: lift and move items, stand for long periods, reach and adjust equipment
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
