Job summary

CVS Health Corporation invites applicants for a Graduate Pharmacy Intern position across our Retail pharmacy teams. The role focuses on applying didactic learning to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor, with a structured 120‑day training roadmap to deepen patient safety and drug utilization knowledge.

You will support daily operations, SOP adherence, and compassionate patient interactions while preparing for increased responsibility as you advance toward a pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled accurately and safely.
• Support patient safety initiatives and SOP adherence in daily operations.
• Provide empathetic customer service and effective communication with patients and colleagues.
• Assist with immunizations and other pharmacy services as trained and allowed by state regulations.
