Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions and refills; refers to provider as needed.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensures pharmacy operations comply with regulations, policies, and standards.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems (Intercom Plus, StoreNET) and proposes system improvements.
• Processes insurance claims and follows up with insurers and providers.
• Provides immunizations and preventive care services; supports community health initiatives.
• Assists with performance data analysis and KPI reviews with management.
