Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom knowledge in real-world pharmacy operations within our retail stores. You will complete a 120-day training roadmap under a preceptor, learning store, district, and regional operations while upholding patient safety and quality standards.

Under supervision, you will assist in immunizations, DUR, and other services, ensuring prompt, safe, and accurate dispensing and compassionate patient care as part of a collaborative pharmacy

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe (120 days).
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy teams to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Assist with immunizations and other patient services as allowed by law.
• Learn SOPs, procedures, and best practices under a licensed pharmacist supervision.
• Provide patient counseling and gather information to ensure optimal care.
